Dr Abraham Jacob MD.

At a very early age, Abraham Jacob was aware of the life-saving benefits of medicine, inspired by his father’s work as a pharmacist at a local hospital in India, where he was born. It was then that he realized his desire for helping people through medicine, and set him on his path to making a difference in people’s lives.

At the age of 12, his family moved to the United States, and by the age of 15 he joined the workforce, learning to manage school, work and sports. He initially entered the medical field as a pharmacy technician, and his fascination with medications and their benefits propelled him to begin his pursuit of becoming a doctor. He ultimately chose cardiology because it was innovative and ever-changing, offering more opportunities to not only save people’s lives, but to change them for the better. He went on to complete his medical internship, residency in internal medicine, and his general cardiology fellowship at the University of Kansas in Kansas City VA in 2001, completing his final year of training in interventional cardiology with a private group doing business as Iowa Heart, P.A. at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

Today, Dr. Abraham Jacob is a respected cardiologist and a partner of The Heart Hospital Baylor Plano, TX. He is also on staff at Baylor Regional Medical Center of Plano, and Texas Health Hospital in Carollton. He is also currently on staff at the Dallas VA Medical Center, where he makes a difference in the lives of our Country’s Veterans. Not only is he certified in Age Management Medicine, he has also served as the Medical Director of multiple labs at Baylor Regional Medical Center and Richardson Regional Medical Center. Additionally, he has held the position of Medical Monitor for several National Trials, including working with the Department of Defense.
